Да здравствует Родина!
A year ago I went on a vacation to Россия or Russia in english. Before I went though, I figured I had better learn some of the language. So I spent three months learning the basics of the Russian language. When I got back though, I figured I may as well learn how to speak Russian completely so I did, and to this day I can Read, write, and speak fluent Russian. Now on to the interesting part of the blog: The vacation itself. Russia is an amazingly beautiful country. The people are very friendly, the cities are very nice, very well maintained. The hotel I stayed in called Отель Кемпински Мойка 22 (The Kempinski Hotel Moika 22), in St. Petersburg was amazing, the staff was very serious in taking care of the room and making sure I had everything I needed, the rooms were very Luxurious and comfortable. Although it was pretty expensive. The various sites and other cities I visited were: The Hermitage, The State Russian Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Moscow, and Stalingrad which is now called Volgogradskaya Oblast. Now the one thing you never want to miss while in Russia period, is heading to see the Красная площадь or the Red Square, in Moscow; It is awe inspiring. It is considered to be the central point in Russia, because every major street and highway originates from that town Square. And don't forget the historic city of Stalingrad (Volgogradskaya Oblast), where the Red Army of the Soviet Union made a heroic stand against the armies of Nazi Germany in World War 2. Now despite all of the rumors of how the Russian people hate America and Americans are completely false. The people are very friendly and helpful, and most of them, as soon as I started speaking Russian, were like "Ah your an American no?" They could tell just by my accent in speaking their language, and despite that, they helped me a great deal during my visit to The Motherland as they like to call it. This land is amazing, if you are planning a vacation and don't know where to go, head to Russia you will love it, I promise.
I severly want to learn Russian... But i literally can't find a single place where I could learn.
